10 On Tuesday

Yay! It's Tuesday. I'm so excited to start my weekly updates called "10 On Tuesday". 10 on Tuesday is basically me telling you all ten things I was interested in or learned from the past week. Above is my copyrighted image that I made called "The 10 On Tuesday Button". If you would like a "10 On Tuesday Button" for your blog, all you need to do is email me at saramarietoscana@gmail.com. Now for my 10 things...

{One} I just recently resized that Halloween is coming up anytime now and I want to dress up for it. However, I am very uncertain if there are any maternity Halloween costumes for low prices. I'll be 18 weeks and 3 days prego exact, so I know I'll need maybe a larger size of clothes. I bet that I'll be making one myself and painting my baby bump to look like something. Here are my ideas:

or this

{Two} People get their pictures stolen from blogs. If you haven't noticed I have made it more difficult for people to take my photos. I have right click disabled on this blog. If you want to get right click disabled on your blog, go to the "Blogging Tips" page and click on "Disable Right Click". Or just click here.

{Three} My hubby keeps talking about "Pregnancy Sex". Any other mama's out there who have had pregnancy sex before? I'm not sure if I want to do pregnancy sex, because I don't know I'll feel with the morning sickness included. Any advice?

{Four} I'm in need of new kitchen appliances! I love stainless steel, but I'm not sure is it counts as "Baby Proof". It's easy to get finger prints on them and I'm not 100% sure if I'll be willing to clean all of my appliances ever day. Brent is totally up for it. I guess we'll go with stainless steel!

{Five} I need two baby gates for my staircase. When did all of you mamas get your baby gates for the stairs? I think we'll be waiting until 30 weeks.

{Six} I have a few ideas for the baby's nursery. I'm thinking of a turquoise theme for a girl and a star wars theme for a boy.

{Seven} I need a new water bottle! Preferably a camelbak.

{Eight} I'm looking into cord blood banking for our baby. Any suggestions for where to bank it?

{Nine} I'm already looking at cribs for our baby! Here are my favorites. All from Babies R Us.

{Ten} My blog is copyrighted. I just keep thinking that people don't know this yet. I posted a message at the top of the blog sidebar. It says that I will take legal action if my photos are stolen. If you see my photos on another blog, email me immediately at saramarietoscana@gmail.com.

That concludes my first "Ten On Tuesday"! I did it. It was hard to think of ten things, but I did. Stay tuned for next weeks.

How To Watermark Your Images

1. Go to www.photobucket.com. Either sign in if you have an account, or sign up if you don't have one.

2. Select your Photo Bucket plan. I use the free 2GB and it works fine.

3. Upload your photo(s).

4. At the top of the page you'll see an "edit" button. Click it. It will lead you to a way to edit your image.

5. Edit the image to however you want it. Don't forget to click the arrow on the right of the toolbar to see more. That is where you'll find something that says "add text".

6. Click save. It will automatically redirect you to the image. Click on the "direct link" button on the sidebar.

7. Add an image to your blog post. Click on image url and click paste. Now you have an image with your watermarked blog name!

How To Disable Right Click

1. Log in to blogger and click "layout"
2. Then, click "add a gadget" You can put this gadget anywhere on your blog. Mine is on my right sidebar at the bottom (no one will see it).
2. When you add the gadget, select "HTML/JavaScript"
3. Copy and paste this code in to the gadget:

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
var message="";
///////////////////////////////////
function clickIE() {if (document.all) {(message);return false;}}
function clickNS(e) {if
(document.layers||(document.getElementById&&!document.all)) {
if (e.which==2||e.which==3) {(message);return false;}}}
if (document.layers)
{document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);document.onmousedown=clickNS;}
else{document.onmouseup=clickNS;document.oncontextmenu=clickIE;}
document.oncontextmenu=new Function("return false")
// -->
</script>

4. Click "save" and then "save arrangement" at the top right.

I hope this helps!

Blog Of The Week

Ashley From

Ashley's blog is pretty cool! You can join her in her journey of mothering b/g twins. Plus go back in time to read the twins birth "scary" as she says instead of birth "story".  Ashley is a kind, caring, nice, and perfect blogger!

Thanks Ashley for sharing your parental journey.

8 Weeks

Goodbye things I love, hello morning sickness! This week my baby is the size of a yummy red raspberry, and trust me. I'm NOT in the mood to eat a yummy red raspberry like I usually am! Morning sickness is killing me! I thought that I had skipped it, but of course I didn't get morning sickness until 7 weeks and 6 days! It's super late. I guess that I'm lucky I didn't get the all day sickness. Here are some things you need to know now that I'm pregnant:

I'm not posting a full body photo of my bump until 18 weeks.
We are finding out the gender.
Right click is disabled!

Now for my eight week update

Dear baby,
I love you so much already and am so anxious to meet you, even though I'm only 8 weeks. You've shown your little body just a bit. I can't wait for you to grow more and more, so I can finally hold you in my arms! I love you so much!
Love always,
Mom

Blog Of The Week

Julie From

Julie's blog is very interesting. I love how she describes everything in her post. She's smart and knows what she's doing when it comes to bloggin'.

Thank, Julie!

No Joke This Time

Okay, so as my family and friends know I've lost my baby 3 times aka miscarried. It was sad and upsetting. But we didn't let our lives tumble over us because we knew that life would move on and that everything would be "okay".  Now we've got some more news for you all!

WE'RE PREGNANT

We let life move on and now another baby is swimming around in my uterus. Now remember that this is our first baby, but the other three only made it to about 11 weeks. I'm due on March 31, 2014 so that makes me 7 weeks a 4 days pregnant.

I made this ticker so I'd always know the size of my bundle of joy. As you can see below, baby is now the size of a blueberry! If you see it as something else, that means your at an old post. but feel free to read through this!

Also, I plan on putting my blog's name in middle of my pictures and/or have right click disabled so people won't steal my pics. Overall pretend to be me! This has happened to people before. View it here. It's #5.

Enjoy my blog!
